The AP21410 / AP21510 single-channel current-limiting power switch by Diodes Incorporated is optimized for USB and other hot-swap applications, mainly for laptops, tablets, and Chromebooks, especially those laptops with Type-C USB ports deployed Business. This series of power switches have a current limit of 0.4A and are powered from a 2.7V to 5.5V power supply. The maximum continuous load current rating is 0.2A. Other protection features, such as 0.4ms controlled rise and fall times, support computing, communications, and hot-plug connections between consumer electronics and peripherals. In addition, under voltage lockout (UVLO) and reverse current blocking function protect input power, and thermal protection function prevents IC AP21410 (active low) and AP21510 (active high) from being damaged in severe overload or short circuit fault conditions The switches are fully USB 2.0 compliant and have two polarities of the enable input.
