     HaydonKerk Pittman (HKP), a division of AMETEK, a specialist manufacturer of precision motion control, has announced the latest addition to the IDEA® family, the EC057B IDEA 57mm DC brushless motor. The motor integrates a programmable IDEA driver, which is the same series as the EC042B IDEA DC motor launched in 2019.

     The EC057B IDEA 57mm BLDC motor integrates a precision BLDC servo motor and IDEA driver, which can reduce design time, wiring requirements and overall cabinet space, thereby reducing system cost. IDEA programmable drive controllers are specially designed for real-time embedded motion controllers and are ideal for high rotational speeds and precise single-axis motion.
