The US company said it could reduce the power consumption of electronic devices in inactive or standby states. This target is called "zero power" and is specified as less than or equal to 5mW. Based on the patented MuxCapacitor step-down technology, this feature HS100 has the following characteristics: based on capacitors, it is designed to provide high efficiency even under light and no load conditions. According to Helix, when the AC mains is converted to 5Vdc, the device drops from a full load range of 10W to 100mA ( representing 5% of full load), achieving an end-to-end efficiency of more than 90%. Possible applications include IoT gateways, remote sensors and smart LED lighting.
