Linx Technologies has introduced a line of lightning arresters for outdoor networking applications. The new Linx arrester is ideal for LPWA (Helium, LoRaWan), public safety, Internet of Things, cellular vehicles to Infrastructure, cellular Internet of Things, LTE, 5G, and WiFi applications where protecting equipment from the potential hazards of lightning strikes is critical.
These arresters prevent electronic circuits from being overloaded by transferring excess current from thunderstorms directly to the ground. Ip67 class arresters include a silicone gasket, washer, hexagon nut mounting, and an aluminum mounting bracket. The company offers arresters in a variety of configurations, including N plug to N socket and N socket to N socket, in 0Hz to 6GHz and 0Hz to 8GHz variations. All arresters are tested to meet corrosion, vibration, mechanical and thermal shock resistance requirements.
