Microchip Technology - Convert thermocouple EMF to degree Celsius with cold-junction compensation (MCP9600)

Microchip Technology's MCP9600 Thermocouple EMF to Temperature Converter converts thermocouple EMF to Celsius with integrated cold junction compensation. It corrects the non-linear error characteristics of the thermocouples of the eight thermocouple types and outputs accurate temperature data of ± 1.5C for the selected thermocouple. The correction coefficient is from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) ITS-90 thermocouple database. The MCP9600 digital temperature sensor with user-programmable registers provides design flexibility for a variety of temperature sensing applications.
