Omron - Versatile latching relays suit wide range of applications (G5RL1AEHR24DC)

Omron's new G5RL U / K latching relay is targeted for motion control, smart meters, power line switches and PV inverters and similar applications. In most applications, latch-up relays are energized only during switching and consume less power than non-latched designs. Both the G5RL-U and G5RL-K can be switched to 16A and can handle surge currents up to 150A. Both are provided in the form of SPST-NO, and have been certified by the VDE standard, which is required to withstand surges exceeding 150A. They also carry UL TV-8, a standard that exposes components to a surge current of 117A. The G5RL-U has a single coil, while the G5RL-K has a dual coil architecture. A lower specification SPDT version is also available.
