Renesas Electronics has expanded its cloud environment lab to simplify the configuration and testing process and speed time-to-market. It improves its cloud-connected lab with new advanced GUI features and new design parameters, resulting in a more attractive and ergonomic user experience and greater configuration flexibility for designers.
Cloud Lab allows customers to access, configure, monitor, test, and measure solutions remotely 24/7 in a full-fledged cloud-connected lab. It includes evaluation boards for popular devices, proof of concept boards from the company's Winning Combinations and other solutions from its partners. Users can access the physics lab via a convenient PC-based GUI and immediately start configuring and testing designs without the need for physical boards.
The new user-friendly GUI includes new control parameters and additional monitoring results. Ergonomic lab layout, advanced features, and intuitive user interface make it easier for users to quickly navigate the environment. For example, centralized live cameras provide users with a complete live view of lab Settings and results, including zooming in and out capabilities for real-time testing and data acquisition readings.
DK Singh, senior director of the System and Solutions Team at Renesas said:"With rapidly changing application requirements, customers are looking for a powerful, flexible and easy-to-use approach to design, configuration and testing," "We've been working hard to make renesas products simpler and faster to design, and the enhanced cloud environment Lab takes product selection and testing capabilities to the next level."
The company has also added 14 popular assessment boards to its Cloud Environment lab. Now there are 23 different boards, offering different application areas and different equipment.
