Sierra Wireless HL8528 Embedded Wireless Module

      The HL8528 is part of the Airprime HL series essential connectivity module series of Sierra Wireless. It is an industrial embedded wireless module that provides dual band UMTS and dual band GSM functions. This allows access to HSPA+and fallback to GPRS networks. The HL series is the smallest module with a common shape factor that spans all current generation cellular connections, making it possible for device manufacturers to connect to their applications, including voice and data, with only one PCB design.

    The HL8528 has the same shape factor of the HL series, which enables forward and backward compatibility between 2G, 3G and 4G modules. These shape factors also provide the ability to weld the module down or use a snap in socket. This makes it possible for efficient advanced production, flexible prototypes or smaller batch runs. Combined with industrial ratings, operator pre certification, and all fallback options, the HL8528 is designed to keep applications connected.
