Silicon Labs' EZR32 Leopard Gecko Wireless Starter Kit provides a convenient method to evaluate and develop the EZR32 Leopard Gecko Wireless MCU. The kit offers three options-WSTK6200, WSTK6201 and WSTK6202-. The clock frequency range is 434MHz to 915MHz and the output power range is + 10dBm to + 20dBm. At the core of the WSTK6200 is the Wireless Starter Kit (WSTK) motherboard (BRD4001), which has an on-board J-Link debugger, an advanced energy monitor for real-time current and voltage monitoring, a virtual COM port interface, and access to a packet tracking interface ( PTI). The WSTK motherboard is paired with an EZR32 Leopard Gecko wireless board that plugs directly into the motherboard. The radio board has the EZR32 Leopard Gecko itself and an RF interface. All debugging functions, including AEM, VCOM, and PTI, can also be used for external targets instead of the included radio board. The company said that the WSTK motherboard also contains sensors and peripherals that demonstrate many of the capabilities of wireless MCUs.
