Texas Instruments - EVM enables design of affordable high-performance near-infrared spectrometer (DLP NIRscan)

Texas Instruments' DLP NIRscan is a complete evaluation module (EVM) for designing high-performance, affordable NIR spectrometers. Flexible tools include everything designers need to start developing DLP-based spectrometers immediately. The EVM features a DLP 0.45 WXGA NIR chipset, the first DLP chipset ever optimized for near-infrared (NIR) light. The company said that with DLP technology, spectrometers for food, pharmaceutical, oil / gas, and other emerging industries will be able to reach the performance levels of laboratories in factories and on-site.
