Vishay - Longer-life high-performance conductive aluminium polymer capacitors

 Vishay has introduced two new aluminum polymer capacitors using conductive technology. The company said that for portable electronics and consumer and telecommunications applications, the 180 CPS and 181 CPL series devices offer higher ripple current, lower impedance, and longer life than standard aluminum capacitors. The 180 CPS and 181 CPL series capacitors are available in various sizes from 5.3mm x 5.3mm x 5.7mm to 10.4mm x 10.4mm x 12mm. The service life at + 105C is 2500h and 5000h respectively. The device provides a ripple current of 6100 mA and impedances as low as 9mohm. According to JEDEC regulations, RoHS-compliant surface mount capacitors support automatic placement and high temperature reflow soldering.
